Our
Religious School prizes innovative and creative
learning in order to educate and inspire our students
to fully experience Jewish life.
We offer small classes and personal attention
so that each student has the opportunity to learn
and grow.
From second grade on, we teach Judaism as a hands-on
participatory experience. We hope to incorporate
each child¹s natural curiosity into our curriculum.
In this we way we encourage children to think
of Judaism in a personal and private way. Open
communications between parents and the staff is
essential to assure the success of our school
that offers small classes and personal attention.
We also offer one-on-one attention for children
with special needs. We invite parents to sit in
on some of our classes which range from first
grade through seventh grade. Our children actually
enjoy being there on Wednesday afternoons.
Our
classes take place at the Alpine Community House
(located on Old Dock Road, off Old Closter Dock
Road, in Alpine, NJ) at the following times:
- Wednesdays from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. for grades
2nd - 5th
- Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for grades
6th - 7th

School Safety:
Safety during Religious school drop-off and pick-up
is our first concern. We ask all parents to observe
the following guidelines:
Do not enter Old Dock Road from Closter Dock Road.
Turn onto Main Street and drive around the block
leading to The Community House and take your place
on line.
Do not park your vehicles and enter the building
to fetch your children. This is extremely hazardous
to you as well as to them and it will only slow
down the whole dismissal procedure.
If you drive a car pool, explain to your group
that they should wait together inside the building
so that we do not have to search for them when
your car pulls up and is ready to be boarded.
